Hope everyone has had a great week, thanks for tuning in to our 2nd official issue!
Who likes poptarts?
I sure as heck do, but I often feel kinda guilty after eating them. So when I stumbled upon Wild Fruit’s Jam Tarts, I was like “whoa.”
“Northcountry wild fruits, milk, flour, butter, pectin, sugar, egg.”
Those are the ingredients in these magically delicious tarts. And yes, there’s sugar! Let’s not try and act like eating any kind of tart is “healthy.” But what makes these so great is they’re straight-up natural. No games.
Flavors include blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, black raspberry rhubarb, and red raspberry. You can snag their gluten-free version as well!
3 Totally-awesome Bnb’s
Weekend escapes are EVERYTHING. Again, here are 3 amazing Airbnb’s to rent for a short vacay.
Modern Yurt with Vineyard Views
Normally I wouldn’t put properties on here that are close to $200 a night, but this Yurt located in Sebastopol, CA is a dang-good exception. Sitting on a homesteaded family farm, it overlooks a beautiful Sonoma wine country. The inside is gorgeous, with a full kitchen and electric appliances. To the right in the photo above is a full bath—bathtub included as well!
Modern Tiny House Retreat
This is a great tiny home for those wanting to explore Atlanta. At $86 a night, you can’t beat this amenity-loaded beaute. It’s got a full kitchen and a full bath! One mile away from Little 5 Points. Two miles away from Ponce City Market. The perfect rest for city-trekking.
Bus in the Blue Ridge
Yeah, now this is trippy. Located in Sylva, North Carolina, this renovated school bus is in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I liken this experience more to glamping. The bus is on the owner’s property and the restroom and laundry is a short walk to their home. But for $49 a night, this is every bit worth it! Great scenes and a great story to tell your family and friends.
Less stuff, more happiness.
Typically, Ted Talks are like 25 minutes long. This one is 5.
Writer and designer Graham Hill lays out how having less stuff can lead to more happiness. He shows how he lived out of a single cardboard box and gives 3 ways on how we can edit our own lives and cut down our possessions.
"Painted Tipis Of The Headmen" By Walter Mcclintock
In hope of their someday being a nationally celebrated Indigenous People’s Day, here is a rare color photo from the early 1900s of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana.
Just one of the many Native American tribes that should be celebrated for their rich and beautiful culture.
